The picture does not do these justice. These are just beautiful book ends. Elegant and heavy. I gave them to a friend for Christmas and he just loves them and so does his wife. These are close friends and he is very hard to buy for, but he loves to read and I just gave it a shot. I had these shipped to my house, so I could check them out, and I was delighted that they were so beautiful.
These really made a nice gift.

Very heavy bookends, perfect for my girlfriend the cat-lover. Not overly cheesy and they don't stand out terribly, but add a nice touch to our living room.

The bookends are as smooth and elegant as my own fast-growing kitten, who poses for a statue with every move. The color is a pleasantly warm brownish-bronze. They fit just right on my office shelves and are tall enough to hold notebooks.

Took a chance after looking many places for a pair of reasonably-priced, substantially-weighted bookends. They came quickly and were exactly what we were looking for. They are much larger than we expected, which is great! The weight is perfect and contains a large stack of DVDs with ease. The color is a beautiful burnished bronze, and the kitties really appeal to the feline-lover in us!
