Not much to say. It fits, collects rain, doesn't talk back. The numbers are easy to read.

I ordered this rain gauge to replace the one that broke on my dragonfly rain gauge from anecdotal aardvark. This is the replacement gauge that is listed with the one I have. But when I received it, it is too small and it does not work. It does not have the fluted top that would make it stay. It was useless to me.

I bought this for my grandmother who's previous rain gauge shattered in a hail storm, so she had the stand with no gauge. When she got it home, she couldn't get the gauge in the stand, so I contacted the seller about returning it...they were very nice, helpful, and prompt with their response, but when i went to visit her i slid it in, no problem (ok, it needed a little maneuvering) and it fits just fine. I think the reason for that is the glass is thicker than the original, which is good because hopefully it won't break near as easily. definitely a worth-while purchase.

Sometime ago I bought a "Froggie" rain gauge with a glass tube to catch and measure the rain. Recently my grandaughter knocked it off the perch and the glass shattered. I thought I might have to replace the whole thing (it wasn't expensive) but then I saw this replacement piece and ordered it - a perfect fit.
